Our manufacturing capabilities include various waveguide assemblies, sub-assemblies and components from WG10 (WR284) up to WG23 (WR22) as standard (other waveguide sizes available on request); including antenna feeds, aluminium assemblies for radar systems, Rotating Joints for the Sat-com/Marine and Aircraft Industry, High and Low Power Loads, Waveguide to Co-Ax Transitions, standard and special waveguide bends including double ridge, and lightweight seamless, Aluminium Rigid/Seamless assemblies and Flex/Twist components, with most of our work to customers own specifications. Alroy are also able to provide site visits for design/installation and testing systems.
We supply custom made waveguide assemblies for the aircraft/Sat-coms and the Space Industry, (In 2014 we completed our first Space flight project). All components are tested using the latest Agilent 50GHz PNA Microwave Network Analyser. We also supply all types of American, British and European flanges and hardware. We have an in-house machine shop for the manufacture of all machined components that go to make our waveguide assemblies, this enables us to be more competitive and offer customers a shorter lead time when required.
In June2015 Alroy's took over Cobham CTS in Leatherhead (Formerly E.R.A. Technology) We bought the IPR to all of their Feed business. We also acquired their machine shop. During that year we also acquired some machines from a company called Electroforms & Components and some of their customers. Electroforms used to supply most of the Waveguide companies in Europe with Flanges, Shims, Gaskets and Hardware.
Alroy uses the latest Solidworks 3D CAD software, allowing us to work closely with customers during the R&D and the design of new or existing projects.
